TLC practice has three parts:
- Tender-Touch
- Loving-Intention
- Caring-Actions
Tenderness
“Tenderness is, Love in action.”
Example:
- Gently, flex & feel the toes
- Gently, flex & feel the fingers
- Gently, flex & feel the tongue
Loving-Intention
“The more we appreciate, the more love we generate.”
Name three things you appreciate about yourself.
Example:
- Values you have
- Things that you do
- How to relate to others
Caring-Action
“What is the intention, of this action?”
Caring-action completes the relearning cycle in the brain.
Examples:
Intentional Caring-Thoughts:
‘May I be safe.’
‘May I be well.’
‘May I be free.’
Intentional Caring-Words:
“Yes”
“It all belongs”
“There is another way.”
Intentional Caring-Movements:
Grounding
Stretching
Opening
